From April to October 2021, I worked as a UX designer with National Stock Exchange of India ltd. and MediaAgility to innovate a solution to allow researchers from academia and beyond to access granular market data.
Challange: Find a solution to streamline the data sharing with researcher as current system is managed completely offline and poses a high security risk for data breach.
Solution: Dataroom is a one-stop solution for all data-sharing needs of Researchers, Administrators and Approvers.

In-depth interviews: We conducted interviews with NSE Researchers and our stakeholders. It helped us learn more about different types of users, their circumstances, how they use a service and what they need from it to get the right outcome for them.
Survey: We conducted with NSE team by sending out simple google forms. It helped us identify the diversification of users for different usacases. It also helped us to identify pain-points of users.

Brainstorming sessions: We trained development team and encouraged participation in the brainstorming sessions. It helped us to consolidate thw thought-process of teams on a Miro Whiteboard which, in-turn, helped us to create someinitial solutions.
Quick Prototyping: We created quick/paper prototypes to showcase test concepts early on the process. We discussed same with the stakeholders and finalised on solutions.

Information Architecture: Designing the IA poses a question:
How can you organise your navigation and content in a clear and consistent way?>Previous reasearch helped us identify that the design should be simple and modular which will be easy for developers to deploy, and simple enough that user do not get confused.
We created various tabs and defined user-level permissions on those, instead of designing separately for separate users.

UI Component Library: After finalising the low-fidelity wireframes and Information Architecture, next step was to idebntify the unique UI components and designing a finalised version.
We created a Component Library in Adobe XD and shared the same with developers.

Finally, added same UI components in the wireframes to create a linked prototype for the portal. You can see glimps of pages from the portal below.
